Summary of Services Conducted to Date
Treefull Communities has managed 78 Grant-funded projects in 36 communities in planting thousands and inventorying tens of thousands of trees across the region over the past nineteen years. This work has included the development of Tree (and Preservation) Ordinances and Urban Forest Management Plans. The Consultancy has prepared 43 Urban and Community Forestry Grant Proposals for 13 NC communities to initiate the development of many of North Carolina’s comprehensive tree programs, directly resulting in a 21% increase in the number of Tree City USA’s in the State during the first decade of business. Various landscape and tree appraisals, assessments and tree preservation projects continue to be conducted for commercial, corporate and residential clients, including architects, attorneys, insurance agencies, nurseries, private property owners and real estate developers. Appraisal methods used include Cost of Cure, Replacement Cost and Trunk Formula.
